PRIME Minister David Cameron took time out of his busy schedule to visit Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Goodwood today.
He took a tour of the factory before addressing around 800 staff, where he praised the luxury car manufacturer for its success.
His visit coincided with Rolls-Royce announcing plans to add a sports utility vehicle (SUV) to its fleet.
Addressing a crowd which included local MPs Andrew Tyrie, Nick Gibb and Nick Herbert, Mr Cameron said: “I’m very proud to be the first Prime Minister to visit this great facility. I want to congratulate you on what you’re announcing today.
“Developing a new SUV, which means the safeguarding of jobs and livelihood here at Goodwood, are here in this business and it’s a very exciting development.
“The British government will do everything it can to back and support the work you are doing.”
