A CHARITY with a Chichester-based shop has asked for West Sussex volunteers to help make an ‘invaluable’ contribution.
The Children’s Society said it wanted to hear from anyone willing to give up a few hours a week to work in its shops.
“Our volunteers are the cornerstone of our work,” said Tina Fellstrom, the charity’s retail operations manager. “Without their selfless dedication, our work to create a better life for the most disadvantaged children would be impossible. Whether it’s a few hours a day or a couple of days a week, their contribution is invaluable.”
She added the charity’s retail shops are a vital source of funds, helping it campaign on issues and support work programmes with children facing poverty, abuse and neglect.
The charity’s Chichester shop is in South Street.
