Bank Holiday weather: chilly with showers

The Bank Holiday weather across Sussex looks set to start chilly but get warmer - with showers.

The Met Office forecast is for tomorrow’s (Saturday May 2) temperatures to only just hit double figures with plenty of cloud and rain in the evening.

Sunday is set to see plenty of showers with the sun making a brief appearance late in the day and just a degree or two warmer.

Bank Holiday Monday is forecast to start off brighter but more showers will spread during the day.

The temperature could rise to a maximum of 14degC and late in the day heavier rain is set to sweep in.

Almost inevitably, with many back at work on Tuesday, there’s likely to be more sunshine during most of the day.
