Sussex weather outlook for week ahead

There will be a cloudy start for the county today (Sunday, April 4) but it will break away to give way to some decent spells of sunshine, according to the Met Office.

It will feel rather warm in the sunshine with light winds.

The maximum temperature is expected to be 16°C.

Tonight it will turn increasingly cloudy from the north overnight, which will give some outbreaks of rain by dawn, the Met Office said.

It will be breezy too with a minimum temperature of 5°C.

Tomorrow (Monday, April 5) it will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain during the morning.

It will be drier and sunnier in the afternoon but will feel much colder with a brisk northerly wind, the Met Office said.

The maximum temperature is expected to be 8°C.

The Met Office it will stay rather cold and windy on Tuesday (April 6).

It will be cold and dry with sunny spells on Wednesday (April 7) and Thursday (April 8) with widespread frosts overnight.
