30mph is plenty

I have been following the 20’s Plenty campaign to ruin my home city from afar, and notice that on the WSCC website they name 329 roads which are included in the proposal.

However, at least 50 of these roads are already within an area covered by an existing 20mph zone and a further 12 are, according to the map on the website, not included as they are A roads.

Presumably the residents of these roads have been asked for their views and they will be included in the data used for the consultation result?

One would have thought a sensible plan would be to only consult the residents whose road would be affected. Would it not also be correct to assume that if a resident did not respond ‘for’ then they are happy with the current situation so their vote will count as a no.

I look forward to seeing you all soon.
