A-boards make city a mess

Regarding the A-board proliferation within the pedestrian precincts of the city centre, this together with the seating outside of the cafe’s and bars make the whole of the city a complete mess.

The A-boards are a nightmare for the disabled, reducing the width of walkway in both North Street and East Street, the council may as well allow the traffic back to those areas. With regard to the retailers claiming they show special offers etc, what’s wrong with proper adverts in the local papers and within their own windows. Perhaps the council could offer proper signs (fingerposts or similar) at the junctions showing what retailers are available, with the retailers paying for this facility.
