An agreeable colour

I purchased a copy of the Chichester Observer last Friday while shopping in order to keep up with the work being carried out at the Festival Theatre.

However I couldn’t believe it when I read the piece about Mr Ward and his shop front.

What petty-fogging bureaucratic lot they are in Chichester District Council.

Firstly they did not have the good manners to speak to Mr Ward face to face and wrote him a letter.

Mr Ward chose his paint from a range agreed by English Heritage and I think it is an agreeable colour for the shop and he wishes to use it as his company colour.

Perhaps the bureaucrats would rather Mr Ward took his business elsewhere and then there would be another empty shop to add to the blight in North Street.
