Blocking up main artery

The reported plaudits for greater visibility of the city wall, once a nine-metre gap opens on to Market Avenue, ignore the selective vision that would be needed to overlook the flank and front walls of three, two-and-a-half storey new houses and two-metre-high garden fences that would be built in between.

Any increase in vehicular access to the ring road will lead to traffic congestion likely to block this main artery.
