FURTHER to Mr Wood’s letter (October 6), I fully concur with his comments on BT’s broadband speeds.
Here at West Wittering we ‘enjoy’ line speeds of 200/300 Kps, for which I pay £9.99 a month.
I have spoken to the Indian call centre about the landline issue (I’ve dug up the main street connection twice since we’ve been here) but am assured all is well.
I also wrote to the CEO, but all I got was a call from customer cervices who seemed more concerned over how he responded to my complaint than resolving it.
The current contract comes to an end soon: I shall not be renewing it, going to a dongle instead (2-3Mb).
