I currently am lucky if I can get 0.3MBs line speed at best times.
I have an email from my provider telling me it is branches from the trees that are earthing out the broadband signal, and this has been confirmed by their chief executive’s office at Southampton.
So the answer is simple: cut down all the trees near telephone lines – I guess it would be great for timber merchants, but I don’t think it will improve your broadband.
After all, clearing leaves off the lines didn’t make for a better railway service.
