There will be a report of another race in the series, the popular Trundle Hill race, in next week’s (May 30) Observer.

Runners from around the area will be able to test themselves over the slightly shorter distance of five miles when Chichester Runners hold their annual Midsummer 5 starting from Lavant Village Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday, June 19.

Taking in a circuit of the Goodwood motor-racing circuit, this is a fast and generally flat course and recognised for producing fast times.

Entry forms can be obtained from either the club website - chichester-runners.org.uk - or on email from [email protected]
