Bobby finds winning medals is a martial art

Bobby White, 12, who attends Bognor’s APTI Taekwon-do, travelled to Guildford Spectrum along with competitors from all over England, Hungary, Belgium, Slovakia and Greece.

White was over the moon to came away from the event with a silver for sparring and a bronze for special technique. He has trained at the club for the past three years under instructor Dave Maynard, who has 20 years’ experience.

The club’s classes are on a Wednesday evening – beginners from 5.30 to 6.30pm, children from 6.30 to 7.30 and adults 7.30 to 8.30, at the West Meads Community Centre.
