The eight-and-under swimmers swam 25m of each stroke. The ten-and-unders swam 50m of each with 100m individual medley.

For the 11-and-over swimmers it was 100m of each stroke with a 200m individual medley.

There were personal bests from the majority of the swimmers, with Katie White breaking the club record in the nine-to-tens’ 50m freestyle in a time of 34.20s.

It was a successful and fun evening.

In the last open meet of the year, three Bognor swimmers – Abbie Turner, Alys Turner (13) and Katie White – went to Southampton. Abbie won two silver and one bronze. Alys got three personal bests and White won two silver medals, finishing off a very successful month for Bognor swimmers.
