The summer saw the club retain the Sussex Archery Albion League once again, winning all three of their division-one matches against Bognor Regis, Plumpton and Holbrook Archery Club.

Individually, club members have seen great success at home and abroad with Jamie Cole being selected to represent England at the European Field Championships held in Rzeszow, Poland in October.

Cole finished eighth individually in the junior men’s compound class and achieved a silver medal with the team alongside Conor Hall and Craig McCreery.

Mandy Linn has achieved first place in the UK ladies’ longbow rankings for 2015. The rankings come from scores submitted throughout the season, which saw Linn win the Sussex county championships, UK Masters and the UK Target Championships as well as setting eight county and three UK records over the summer.

The Bowmen are now looking forward to the indoor season, in which they will shoot at the National Indoor Championships at Stoneleigh and travel to Holland for the Kings of Archery tournament.
