Salthill’s super cricket day benefits St Wilfrid’s

Salthill Cricket Club’s open and fun day raised £907.74 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

The money was raised through a charity cricket match against a Fishbourne Centre team, a barbecue and a prize draw which was enjoyed by several hundred people.

Event co-ordinator Andy Beal paid tribute to both sides and to the local businesses and individuals who contributed such fantastic prizes to such a worthy cause. He has handed the cheque to Alisa Lakeman at St Wilfrid’s.
