David Wiese was involved in the Pakistan Super League final with his side Lahore Qalandars as they took on Karachi Kings in Karachi.

The South African had started well in the tournament since the competition resumed after nine months away because of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Wiese had made two match-winning knocks and had delivered with the ball in his two games in the PSL since its resumption but was unable to carry his side to victory once again as Karachi Kings won by five wickets.

Wiese made 14 not out in his side's below-par total of 134/7 and finished with figures of 0-21 off three overs.

Jofra Archer and Chris Jordan teamed up once again as England began their white-ball preparations for their tour of South Africa.

Both were in action in England’s warm-up game as they were picked for Jos Buttler’s XI who took on white-ball captain Eoin Morgan’s XI.

Both were unable to produce with the bat, Jordan scoring six off seven balls before he was caught by Ben Stokes off Tom Curran with Archer being run out for 13.

However, both made up for it with the ball, Archer delivering fine figures of 1-11 from four overs, taking the wicket of Tom Banton for 10. Jordan meanwhile took 2-35 from five overs, as he took the wickets of Morgan for 20 and Liam Livingstone for 19.

England have one more warm-up match on Monday before their tour officially starts on November 27. The tour will begin with three T20 internationals, concluding with three one-day internationals.
