VIDEO: Surrey fielders collide at Arundel Castle

A TWEET has been posted by @ByTheMinSport this morning, which shows the sickening collision between Moises Henriques and Rory Burns at Arundel Castle yesterday afternoon.

The Surrey pair collided when attempting to take a catch, which left both unconscious to the horror of the 8,500 crowd. Both players were treated by medical staff on the pitch, before they were taken to hospital by ambulance.

Surrey tweeted this morning to say that Burns is expected to be discharged from hospital this afternoon and Henriques will be there for another 24 hours.

Surrey tweeted: “Update from the hospital: Rory is expected to be discharged this afternoon. Moises will be there for another 24 hours.

“Moises will also require further dental surgery. Both of the lads are in good spirits and bearing up well.”
