After losing their title last year, the Richmond team wanted it back and started well in the first leg including a straight ton from Blackman, who won it for them.

The second leg went to The Claremont but in the final leg, Richmond Raider Ian Hackett, chairman of the league, clinched the title for his team.

In division one there were 13 trebles on the oche, the biggest turnout in years.

The first semi-final saw Cliff Prior, Lee Franklin and Lee Clark lose out to POW Bognor team mates Craig Stoner, Nathan Warren and Courtney Wilson.

The second semi ended with POW’s Gary Blackwood, Gary Miller and Janet Grinstead go out to Micky Rowland, Richard Ragless and Dave Owens (QE2 A).

In the final, the first leg saw the POW trio take the honours. The second leg was nip and tuck but Ragless took his chance at double ten, which he hit with his first dart to take it for QE2 A.

The last leg saw Wilson start with a 120 in-shot and end it for his POW team with a double 16.
