It is a huge disappointment for fans and for a club who made FA Cup headlines with runs to the first round proper in the 1980s and 1990s but have not got to that stage since. It's a lost chance of much-needed revenue from Cup prize money.

Bognor were unchanged from their midweek 1-0 win at local rivals Horsham. Jason Parish returned to the bench after coming back from injury.

Joe Cook glanced a header wide before Will Stone's spectacular shot was kept out. Jake Sheppard scuffed his shot and it was saved by Tangara.

Ashton Leigh received treatment off the pitch after he overstretched for a bad back pass that he tried to keep in play.

Hayes & Yeading took the lead as a corner from Scott Donnelly found Keano Robinson, who headed it beyond Tangara. Bognor went further behind when they lost the ball deep in their own half and a simple cross along the deck to Greco saw the forward slot it low into the net on 51 minutes.

Cook went into the book for a sliding challenge. Stone was replaced by Bradley Lethbridge and a major improvement was required with Bognor giving the ball away too often.

Ashton Leigh's free kick found Cook whose header glanced wide as Tommy Leigh went down in the area off the ball.

Alfie Stanley replaced Whyte on 68 minutes for the Rocks with the game all but over. Tangara saved a header on 69 minutes but the follow-up by Greco saw him slam the ball high into the net.

More was to come and Bognor lost the ball just inside their own half and Donnelly stole the ball before spotting Tangara and finding the net from long distance on 74 minutes.
