Bosham bounce back in perfect style at Clymping

Bosham bounced back in the perfect way after their mauling at the hands of Rottingdean to confidently dispatch a struggling Clymping side 4-2 in division three of the Sussex League.

The Reds took the lead in the first minute when James Bracher surged into the box and found partner Neil Redman for the striker to poke into the corner of the net.

Marc Maunder added a sublime finish to a wonderful move to double the Bosham advantage before the quarter-hour. Maunder linked up with Marco Giambelardini, who put his team-mate clear of a static defence.

On the hour Kieran Hartley was felled in the area by Karl Smith and got up to slot home the resultant spot kick.

Clymping made a real game of things in the last quarter.

Connor Lambert got the Blues firing again and after Bracher added a fourth for the reds, Adam Churcher caught the Reds back-line napping with a long-range shot.

Manager Tony Hancock said: “I was pleased with the result and performance, although there is still room for improvement.”
