Trialists Jason Parish and Will Stone were on target either side of an Ashton Leigh rocket as a Rocks squad containing plenty of new faces won comfortably at the Five Heads Park home of Michael Birmingham's Wessex League team.

Afterwards Blake gave an in-depth verdict - although the second half of his interview was in total darkness with Horndean a bit hasty to turn off the lights.

Blake did have words for those in the dark over whether the Rocks will sign Joe Cook and Jake Flannigan - and expressed sympathy for trialist Siph Mldalose, formerly of Southampton and Salisbury, who ruptured his Achilles and ended the evening in hospital.
