The popular centre-back is in his third season with the Hornets having joined back in August 2017.

The former Petersfield Town, Horndean and Midhurst & Easebourne player has struggled for regular minutes having had a disjointed start to the campaign with injuries after dislocating his shoulder back in March.

Hyde, who is under contract this season, will spend January at Pagham - one of his previous sides - boosting his fitness and game time.

A club statement said: "Lewis Hyde is set to wear the black and white of Pagham this weekend, rather than the Lincoln Green and amber of Horsham, as he begins a month’s loan with the Southern Combination League side.

"The popular defender, who picked up both the Hornets’ supporters’ and players’ Player of the Year awards last season, has struggled to hold down a regular first team place after dislocating his shoulder at East Grinstead in March so will be taking a month-long loan spell at Nyetimber Lane to help provide him with much-needed playing time."
