They are a new side within Bosham’s Academy and so far they have won two of their opening four games - a great start for a team and manager who are new to the Arun and Chichester Youth League.

Kennett, who was a Bosham player for eight years, knows the club inside out and he said: “For a new team they are doing really well. At the beginning we didn’t know anything about the standard of the league, but there are some good teams and it is a good standard.

“Bosham have also invested a lot of time and money into this team and they have great facilities, with a great pitch to play on and an all-weather pitch to train on.”

The Robins are always welcome to recruiting new players and Kennett believes it is a great environment for any child.

“We are always looking for new players at the start of season, we did not know how many we would have, but there we have a good number and we are always interested in introducing new players.

“All the players get along well, they are all friendly and the spirits are also high.”
