Manager Ed Warren said: “They have been a fantastic set of players throughout the season with great attitude and a desire to achieve, listening and giving 100 per cent.

“Although we have had some big wins, we also had to grind out some 1-0s and 2-1s. They really have fought hard and deserved to win the league.

“The parents have been phenomenal and supportive. Its been an incredibly enjoyable and rewarding experience managing these lads. I can’t thank them enough.”

Warren paid tribute to Sandra Largan for her amazing organisational skills, Mark Pelling for training the lads to such a great standard, Andy Field-Millard for helping when needed, Aaron Eade and Tom Cain for running the line, and all other parents and supporters.
