Bognor cruised to a 3-1 victory over nine-man Carshalton Athletic in the Ryman premier.
Ben Godfrey, Scott Chamberlain and a Harold Odametey own goal sealed the points for Jamie Howell’s side.
Athletic hit back through Lewis Taylor’s penalty, but it was too little, too late.
The hosts were their own worst enemy as Adriano Moraes was sent off midway through the first half, and Niall McManus compounded a miserable day with a second booking in injury-time.
Carshalton had a chance to open the scoring when Moraes let fly with a driven shot which was deflected behind for a corner that came to nothing.
But it was the Rocks who took the lead in the 21st minute from a flag-kick of their own.
Godfrey thumped home a fierce header after Craig Robson had whipped in an inviting corner - it was the striker’s second goal in the two Christmas games following his opener in the 3-1 home win over Lewes on Boxing Day.
The momentum of the game then changed dramatically when Moraes was shown a straight red for elbowing Rocks keeper Mark Zawadski.
With the numerical advantage, Bognor piled on the pressure.
Great build-up from the visitors led to an opportunity for Chamberlain but Carshalton stopper Philips made a great save.
The Rocks made two substitutions at half-time, with Stuart Axten and Terry Dodd brought on.
And the substitutes made an immediate impact, with Dodd playing a low cross into the path of Chamberlain who smashed a first-time effort into the roof of the net. Like Godfrey, Chamberlain was celebrating his second of the festive period.
Five minutes later, Dodd again fed another dangerous ball into the box, leaving a helpless Harold Odametey to slice the ball into his own net.
On 75 minutes, a foul by Robson resulted in a penalty for the hosts which was well converted by skipper Lewis Taylor.
But in the 90th minute the home side were down to nine men – McManus sent off for a second yellow.
The win means the Rocks are still seventh, but their tally of 42 points leaves them only three off the play-off zone.
