The Rocks today completed the signing of striker Ashley Harris from Pompey on a month’s loan.
The 20-year-old made his debut for Pompey in 2012 and has played 35 matches for the first team. He was on the bench for last night’s match at Chesterfield.
Harris will be in the squad for this evening’s match against Billericay at Nyewood Lane. If all parties are in agreement the loan can potentially be extended until the end of the season.
Striker Ben Godfrey has now left the Rocks. He scored some valuable goals for the team earlier in the season, including a potential goal of the season in the win at Kingstonian.
However, he has been struggling somewhat with his fitness recently and the Rocks say he would clearly would benefit from regular first-team football.
Bognor secretary Simon Cook said: “Everyone at the club wishes to thank Ben for his efforts on our behalf, and also wish him all the best with his future career in football.”
