Storm Ciara causes damage at Nyewood Lane - and Bognor v Brighton and Hove Albion is OFF

Storm damage at Nyewood has forced Bognor to call off Tuesday night's Sussex Senior Cup tie against Brighton's under-23s.

As the picture shows, Storm Ciara, which caused damage and chaos across the country on Sunday, has damaged the awnings over the terracing at the clubhouse end of the ground.

The Rocks said with health and safety in mind, Tuesday's game - a county cup quarter-final - had been called off. A new date will be set soon.

They will be hoping to clear up the damage well in time for Saturday's league game at home to Bishop's Stortford to go ahead.
