Chichester City Colts under-nines whites won their first cup final in very wet conditions in Worthing to lift the Cathedral Cup.

The Colts played well and battled to the end.

The team were unbeaten last season and have yet to lose this season. Manager Marc Pitman says he has a wonderful team of players who entered four tournaments in the summer and won them all, the hardest being in Southampton.

This season they have been sponsored with a new match kit by LAM Office Furniture, a great help because they had only seven kits for ten players.

Pitman said: “The commitment from all the boys and their parents is brilliant – it is very rare that any of the boys ever miss training or matches, which shows in the results.
