Tickets went on sale on Monday (Nov 18) and the first chance to experience a day on the Downs at the races will be the opening Saturday fixture on May 3.

The season gathers pace with the May festival - three thrilling days of racing from Thursday 22 to Saturday 24, featuring four listed races and more than £300,000 in prize money.

June brings the fourth year of the highly-acclaimed Three Friday Nights, when Goodwood will once again welcome three top international DJs - to be announced in March - to create a dynamic combination of racing, music and dancing.

June also sees the introduction of a new Sunday charity raceday fixture, which replaces the early May Thursday card.

This takes place on June 8 and will celebrate 50 years of the Injured Jockeys’ Fund. The public will be given a real behind-the-scenes insight into racing, - from the weighing room to meeting and talking to the jockeys, you will get to see areas you have never before had access to.

The season highlight, Glorious Goodwood, runs from Tuesday, July 29 to Saturday, August 2, featuring two Group 1 contests and many other group and listed races across five days when the eyes of the whole of the racing world will be on Goodwood.

The August bank-holiday weekend brings another three days of sublime racing and 1950s seaside fun for friends and family. From Friday 22 to Sunday 24, the racecourse will be transformed into the scene of a nostalgic summer holiday of yesteryear with traditional entertainment and live music - and a racing programme that will again include the Group 2 Celebration Mile.

As summer draws to a close, the course hosts two action-packed midweek meetings on Tuesday, September 2 and Wednesday, September 24.

The curtain will come down on Goodwood with the season finale on Sunday, October 12, where the track will celebrate 2014 and look back on what will have been another innovative year at Goodwood.

It looks set to be a busy year and Goodwood anticipate high volumes of ticket sales with their key fixtures selling out weeks in advance. To book in advance for the 2014 season, for which ticket prices start from £10, go to www.goodwood.com or call the ticket office on 01243 755055.
