Golfing talent runs in the family. Thirty years ago his father Brendan, who was then a junior at the club, also won the trophy.

Brendan is now one of the most experienced caddies on the European Tour.

He carried the bag for Jose-Marie Olazabel when he won the US Masters at Augusta in 1999 and is now caddying for Britian’s Chris Wood.
