Midhurst tennis players back on the baseline
Midhurst Tennis Club start their new season this Sunday at 2pm.
New members will be warmly welcomed to a social mixed doubles afternoon.
They are a thriving club running several teams in the East Hants leagues and have a thriving junior section catering for youngsters aged four and up.
Last year successes were the under-12s boys winning the Aegon League division six and the under-14s coming second in their division.
All ages are welcome, whatever your level of skill. There are five lovely courts in June Lane and an active club with weekly mix-ins on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Ladies’ group coaching is available every Friday at 11am. On Saturday mornings there are three levels of children’s coaching. Beginners are welcome, from the age of four.
Tennis is a great way of keeping fit and having a lot of fun.
At Sunday’s event there will be a break in play around 4pm for tea and refreshments.
Professional tennis coaching is available and for more information see www.midhursttennis.co.uk including their 2017 calendar.
You can ring chairman Paul Ryrie on 07733 366162 or membership secretary Jill McFarland on 07765 104675 – or just go along.
They play at 10am most Sundays, and Wednesday evenings at 6pm.
