Moore recently made the headlines after becoming the outright winner in a Cambridgeshire mixed race earlier this year.

Not overawed by the vast array of international and Great British racers, Moore produced an impeccable run coming home in 56:30.

Her efforts helped secure an 11th-placed position across the whole field in the female competition.

The standard was extremely high, with multiple world and Olympic champion Tirunesh Dibaba winning in this specific field.

Moore was only beaten by five other athletes from the United Kingdom, with her personal best time posted the seventh highest by a UK racer in 2016.

This is likely to put the Cambridg University student in the frame for further selection following her first England vest being given for the Dublin 10K earlier this year.

While not being able to emulate Moore’s efforts, Chichester’s top-four men put in a fine all-round performance.

All of Chi’s male racers were able to finish inside the top 120 from a field of over 24,000 competitors.

Peter Concannon’s personal best time of 55:10 was enough to see him come home 37th overall.

Chris Bird just edged home in the top 50 with his 48th place finish coming in a time of 57:06.

A third Chi competitor came home inside the top 100, with Mike Houston number 94 to cross the line (60:12).

Just over 20 seconds further back came a fourth and final Chichester racer Mikey Neville.

He was the 113th racer to break the tape with a time of 60:45.

Team wise, Aldershot were the winners as club mates Chris Thompson and Andy Vernon were the top-two runners to finish.
