BOGNOR-based Riley’s Gym boxer Arthur Geikins racked up another win at Mickey Helliet’s No Guts No Glory show at the Camden Centre in London.

Geikins entertained his travelling support in a tough match against a battle-hardened Matthew Ashmole.

After a very even opening round, Geikins started to figure out Ashmore’s awkward style and take the fight to him, pushing him back with educated pressure.

Ashmole had a high work-rate, but the better-quality punches came from Geikins, who had the accuracy and power.

In the third, Ashmole received a warning for illegal use of the head, which resulted in him opening a cut over his own right eye which Geikins began to target with his left-hand screw shot.

The fourth and final round ended with Ashmole on the back foot and Geikins pushing forward in a more ferocious manner. The bout was awarded fight of the night and scored 39-37 in favour of Geikins.
