Sussex County Table Tennis Association hold their second annual cadet/junior four-star competition at the K2 in Crawley this weekend.
The event is part of the association’s legacy Olympic strategy and aims to inspire the next generation of table tennis players.
The tournament has attracted 222 entries from all over the UK and Ireland and includes many of the most talented players in the country.
These include rising star Tin Tin Ho, the 13-year-old from Middlesex who won last year’s cadet French and Portuguese open competitions and has been selected to represent Europe in the world cadet challenge later this year. Tin Tin is ranked 23 in the world at under-15 level. Chichester players Adam Corell – the No18 under-15 in England – and Lois Peake, No9 under-18 in the country, will be competing against many of the leading English players.
The competition is free to view for spectators.
