The Littlehampton 10k, run in aid of Chestnut Tree House Hospice, was held in very warm weather.
The race is always very popular with Bognor’s Tone Zone runners and this year was no exception, with a total of 28 members taking part.
Michael Harris was the first Tone Zoner home in a time of 40.34. Debbie Patching came a fantastic fifth in category in 54.54 and Louisa Proctor was sixth in category in 45.45.
In other races, Tony Hurren and Tony Hancock ran the Backpool 10k and half marathon on successive days in a challenging racing environment. Simon Bodsworth achieved 3.47.10 at the Guernsey Marathon.
The ten-mile Great North Run was run by Benita Milton and Sam Yates, recording times of 2.38.53 and 2.38.54 respectively.
Chris Gallagher, Ian Bayley and Colin Hiscock ran the Wolverhampton Marathon in 3.51.45, 3.55.04 and 3.56.46 respectively.
