Meet the man who wants to revitalise squash at Chichester club

Chichester Racquets & Fitness Club have welcomed Tim Vail back to the club as the new head squash and racketball coach.

Vail’s aim is to revitalise squash at the club and offering a comprehensive junior coaching and outreach programme.

He has a wealth of experience, both as a coach and player.

He is an England Squash level four elite professional coach, ES south regional coach and in 2012 was the ES elite coach of the year.

Vail is 10 times national racketball champion and was the British Open over-35 champion in 2018.

Club manager Jack Lerwill said: “The club is extremely excited to welcome Tim back. Tim’s reputation within the squash coaching world is second to none and we look forward to working together to enhance squash at the club and within the local community.”

Although squash play is still restricted at this time, one to one coaching is now permitted.
