Sally ends croquet season with win at Chichester and Fishbourne club
Competitors had great fun when they took part in Chichester and Fishbourne Croquet Club’s annual end-of-year tournament, held on a sunny but chilly day.
The tournament, a mixture of association and golf croquet devised by member Brian Shipman, had players in fierce competition.
The fiendish rules and scoring system often left participants perplexed by the outcome of their games in the event, which has become a favourite of the season.
