Rain slows Challenge field, but race fun continues

Some slower times and soggy runners and spectators were the only harmful effects of the rain that hit the second race night of this year's Chichester Corporate Challenge.

The top athletes were up to half a minute slower around the city-centre course with the roads and pavements wet underfoot, but it was still another successful night of action as the Chichester Runners-organised races continue in their 25th year.

Chichester’s American Chris Zablocki was again the winner of the A race and this time Peter Concannon and James Baker made it a Chi 1-2-3.
