Their 1-0 defeat at Enfield, coupled with Havant's 2-1 home win over Dulwich Hamlet, clinched with a late Jason Prior penalty, leaves their lead at just one point.

Karl Oliyide scored the only goal of the game to win it for play-off hopefuls Enfield.

Bognor now take their one-point lead to AFC Sudbury next Saturday, when Havant host Tonbridge.

In the Southern Combination, Chichester City slipped to a rare defeat - 1-0 at Peacehaven - while Pagham drew 1-1 at home to Newhaven, with Callum Overton scoring their goal.

In division one, Selsey won 5-1 at Steyning thanks to goals by Tom Groom, Ryan Morey (2), Bradley Dean and Matt Boulton. Midhurst won 3-2 at home to Mile Oak.

In division two Sidlesham drew 2-2 at home to Upper Beeding. Leaders Bosham had no game but their closest rivals Jarvis Brook won 4-2 at Westfield.

In rugby, Chichester fell to what could be a critical home defeat to Guildford, 37-31 the final score after the Blues had led 31-10.
