ROCKS REVIEW: Fans told - You were as consistent as the team

They were the Rocks' 12th man all season long '“ and their fans were given another thank-you by the team's management as they came to terms with their play-off heartache.

Hundreds of supporters backed the Rocks home and away throughout a thrilling campaign. In fact, the total number of fans who have gone through the gates to watch the side is around 20,000 – and a home average of more than 400 is the envy of many clubs in higher divisions. But it wasn’t just the numbers that impressed the players and management – it was the unwavering backing fans (pictured left at Chatham) gave the team.

Not even when it all went wrong with the failure to win at Chatham and then the play-off defeat to Dulwich Hamlet did supporters turn against the players.

His management partner Darin Killpartrick said: “We can’t thank the fans enough for their support. It’s not gone unnoticed, I can promise them that.

“Hopefully they’ll be back next season and we’ll give them more to smile about.”
