The Westergate 15-year-old has played two games for the South-East England Academy team.

She got into rugby watching her brother Owen play at Chichester RFC then did an inter-school rugby introduction at Midhurst Rother in 2014.

She joined Worthing under-15 girls but a shortage of players saw her switch to Pulborough last year and was involved in a Sussex training session in Worthing.

Seehawong now plays for Pulborough – mainly as full-back – and she has played for Sussex after getting through trials last September.

She was put forward by Sussex for trials for the South East England Academy at the Saracens RFC ground with three other county team-mates, all of whom were successful.

Seehawong played the whole match for the SE in a 52-47 win against the north in Solihull. She did not score but put in some amazing tackles and hand-offs which are her trademark.

She was then picked in the SE England team to face the south-west and played three-quarters of the 31-15 win.

Seehawong would love to play for a major team and go into sports therapy and is looking forward to moving up to Pulborough under-18s and being coached by John Breach and furthering her skills.

Meanwhile, brother Owen is doing well for Chichester colts and was involved in their recent run to the National Cup semi-finals.

Their sister Emily also plays for Pulborough at under-13 level.
