The fixture aims to raise much-needed funds for the charity.

‘Love Your Hospital’ raises funds for the three hospitals that make up the Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, including Worthing, St Richard’s and Southlands hospitals.

Gates open at midday and racegoers can look forward to an exciting seven-race card of national hunt racing throughout the afternoon.

Simon Williams, Fontwell Park executive director, said: “We’re really proud to be supporting this great local charity at the racecourse. We hope to raise lots of much-needed funds so that Love Your Hospital can continue to offer the best hospital care to people in the Sussex area.”
