Twelve ladies entered and the six pairs played a round-robin draw timed event – playing five matches of 15 minutes each. The joint winners of the competition were Amanda Boyce, who partnered Jan Lambert, and Sarah Bain with Simone Head.

This year the event was preceded by a cardio tennis taster session, organised by head tennis coach Justin Pollard.

Wednesday ladies’ morning tennis has continued to flourish and is one of the most successful club mix-in sessions of the weekly tennis programme.

The number of ladies who participate each week continues to increase and the session has thrived. Every Wednesday the session is regularly attended by between 16 and 20 ladies.

Ladies’ morning is welcoming and fun and gives everyone a chance to play and enjoy a good game of tennis.
