Goodwood’s May Festival begins on Thursday afternoon and it looks like offering up three days of top-class flat racing.
Thursday’s highlight is the Height of Fashion Stakes while Friday brings the Cocked Hat Stakes. The races have attracted a number of runners who could use them as the last stop before Epsom and the Oaks and Derby in a fortnight’s time.
