With British Wavesailing Asoociation events now complete for this year, the 15-year-old from West Wittering is turning his attention to training for 2015.

Plans are in hand for an Elite Rippers wave-sailing clinic to be based at West Wittering from December to March, with ten of the UK’s top young windsurfers taking part.

The event will also be attended by some of the finest professional windsurfers who compete internationally to inspire and guide these rising stars.

It is also likely that Pettit will be going to the Olympic sailing venue in Weymouth to compete in a winter slalom sailing series.

As reported in the Observer, the Bishop Luffa School pupil gained the national trophy at the last round at Gwithian beach in Cornwall.
