A NEW display at Tangmere Military Aviation has lift-off thanks to the hard work by a model aircraft group from Hampshire.
The museum has been presented with 12 model aircraft by the Romsey Modellers group, which made Warsaw pact style planes from the Cold War era.
The planes were created as part of the group’s annual competition, with member Tony Adams winner with his model of the SU 25 Frogfoot.
The presentation group were welcomed to the museum by director Alan Bower, with Mike Wieland and David Burleigh. The models are now on display in a special cabinet.
To say thank you for their donation, the group from Romsey Modellers enjoyed a tour of the museum after the presentation.
