THE ISSUE of conscientious objection will be up for discussion at the next meeting of the Chichester Humanists.
The group will be meeting on Monday, April 16 at the Chichester Inn, Westgate at 7pm. Members of the Chichester Quakers will also be at the meeting.
While the group will be concentrating on conscientious objection in wartime, other subjects to be discussed include general issues which have the headlines including council staff not participating in civil partnerships, pharmacists not dispensing the morning after pill and Sikhs not wearing motorcycle helmets.
The group meets every month to discuss issues relating to faith, science, and welcomes new members.
It is part of the West Sussex Humanists which represents the interests of non-religious residents. For more contact Andrew Edmondson on 07934 508671.
