Fireworks to bring magic to Selsey

Fireworks are back in Selsey for another year with a brand with a new theme.

This year, the fireworks will be based around the theme of ‘Magic, Myths and Legends’.

The fireworks by Selstar of Selsey will be synchronised to famous film and television music.

The event takes place on Saturday (October 13), at the Bunn Leisure White Horse Playing Field, in Selsey.

Mervyn Hall, vice chairman of Selsey Fireworks said: “As usual there will be a fun fair and live music There is also a massive bonfire and on-site catering.

“The crowds will be kept informed and entertained by Steve Power the very popular radio presenter from Wave 105.

“This popular family event will be in its 33rd year during which thousands of pounds have been raised for local charities and good causes.

“Once again a big thank you must go out to the local businesses of the Selsey and Chichester district who have given remarkable support.”

The gates will open at 5.30pm with discounted rides for the first hour.

Live music is from 6.30pm, and fireworks start between 8-8.30pm.

Tickets on the gate will be £4 per accompanied child under 16 and £5 per adult.

Discounted tickets are available if bought in advance.
