A CELEBRATION of summer will be held tomorrow (Saturday, June 22) to raise funds for two good causes.
The Friends of Great Ballard School are hosting their summer fête in the grounds of Eartham House from midday to 3pm.
Proceeds from the fête will be shared between the Friends of Great Ballard School and Chestnut Tree House, the children’s hospice.
Activities on the day will include a dog show with various classes from agility to the waggiest tails, a bouncy castle, barbecue, candy floss, plants for sale, table-top stalls, tombolas, champagne raffles and a prize-draw raffle with goodies donated from local businesses.
Chestnut Tree House will also have an information stall on the day.
And, to help get everyone into spirit of summer, there will be live steel drum music playing.
Anyone is welcome to attend.
