The Boat Project: the legacy at Emsworth Museum

THE ideas behind a living archive of people’s memories will be explored in a new exhibition.

Collective Spirit, a boat made from a multitude of donated pieces including timber from Echo and Terror, is the subject of an exhibition launching on Friday (August 30) at Emsworth Museum, in North Street.

The boat was launched in May, 2012, and has taken part in many sailing events along the south coast.

The Boat Project: the legacy, running until September 29, describes the ideas behind the project and what is hoped for the future.

Admission is free of charge, all welcome.
